Week 1, Toy - 3

Here's my stuffed animal pic with a little Jacque thrown in for good measure. What's funny is that she kept posing and wanting me to take different pictures. It was rather amusing at the time, but somehow I hope it doesn't become a habit. :D

OH, and I found my camera btw! Overjoyed, I am!

Week 1, Self - 2

Who's brilliant idea was it that we had to make sure one photo a week was to be with ourselves in it?! That is one of the more pain in the neck things... BUT, oh so "brilliant" person that I am, I thought it might be a good idea to get it out of the way for the week now (first thoughts when you wake up in the morning aren't always as intelligent as you sometimes hope). Yesterday's photo took a whole split second consideration, but today's, I thought about it waaaaaay too much. I was going to take a page out of Jenn's book and do something kinda upsidedown, but that so didn't work for me quite how I'd hoped. Then I thought, just take a photo and be done with it, but that wasn't working either (go figure). Finally, I took a page out of Kendra's book and took a photo of my feet. Start small, as it were. I went outside in the sub-freezing weather way too early in the morning to take a picture, but I took it anyway. Here I am wearing the new silk jammies that K.C. bought for me and the healed boots that I bought on a whim and wasn't sure I'd ever really like, but have since determined that I like rather well. "Give it a chance!" Okay, now that my pointless rant is over, hopefully next week's photo of myself won't be quite so dramatic for me. ;) (Not holding my breath!)

Week 1, Animal - 1

Walking outside, getting ready to get in the van to go to work, I noticed that our driveway, not only covered in snow, was decorated with what appears to be hundreds of cat tracks. Unfortunately, our house seems to be where the neighborhood cat population likes to hang out, but it provided a great opportunity to start my 365 Project!

Project Beginning

Starting tomorrow, K- and I have determined that we're going to start our own 365 photo project. I'm going to post my photos here and hope that I can do it on a good timeline. I will try to post descriptions as I go, but I'm not holding my breath. Our only specification is that we must have at least one photo of ourselves a week.

My own personal specifications is that I'm going to do a set of 7 pictures a week. I need to have the following:

1) one of myself
2) one of J- or the other kids
3) one of an animal (whether my pet or an animal outside or someone else's pet)
4) one of a toy somewhere in the pic (likely a stuffed animal theme)
5) one that is SCA related (whether projects, events or ppl)
6) one that has to be outdoor related
7) and one that can be anything at all.

There are other sites that host 365 projects, so I might try to glean challenges from them for the final pic, but I doubt I'll make it that complicated. Now, it's easy to tell that these can be combined in any one photo, but I will do what I can to specify in the title of the daily pic which photo for that week is being posted. Therefore, tho I could have J- and a stuffed animal in one photo, it needs to be specified for one or the other. I'm hoping to get the pics uploaded each day *crosses fingers*, but if I just get them online at all, I'll be happy.
