Week 5, Wildcard - 31

This first pic is with my digital camera. Tonight there was a lunar eclipse. You can see the red haze covering the moon. This next series of pics were taken with our digital video camera. The quality isn't as good, but the zoom on the video camera is so much better than my digital camera.

Week 5, Outdoors - 30

This is a picture of the Warren Theatre in Wichita, KS. We drove 2.5 hours after work to catch a movie here, because they have a neat concept - dinner while watching a movie on the big screen. Unfortunately, after 8:00pm they don't allow anyone under 21 in the theatre. Why? They sell alcohol. :P We arrived at 9:30 I'm afraid, so we drove to the east side of Wichita to watch our movie at a different Warren Theatre. The second theatre was HUGE! Over 24 screens. The theatre itself was a definite teenie bopper magnet tho, good lord. Anyway, this was the beginning of our weekend adventure.

Week 5, SCA - 29

Not overly exciting, but this is a representation of one of our shire business meetings. Very few showed up today, but winter seems to do that to our shire.

Week 4, SCA - 28

Final pic for the week and it's another fighting machine...

I have used this before, tho not much recently. It does actually work for its intended use. It gives you a slightly unpredictable moving target and helps you work on precision as opposed to just whacking something.

We made it a month!! Woo hoo! (Or as Jenn is like to say recently...) Wah-hoo! Let's keep going!

Week 4, Toy - 27

She seems to love this laser tag toy, tho it's not used for it's intended purpose other than shooting defenseless by-standers. ;)

Week 4, Jacque - 26

What can I say...? She's growing up.

Week 4, Wildcard - 25

It's a little blurry, but my camera is limited. As I was working on laundry today, I noticed this group of leaves hanging precariously outside my window. One of the leaves resembled a heart, so I wanted to try capturing it on film... The wind kept blowing the leaves around, so getting the side of the leaf I wanted the most was a trick and a half. It didn't come out quite how I wanted it, but it's here anyway in sepia with the background consisting of our backyard dusted in powder sugar snow. The leaves, incidentally, have since fallen to their timely deaths to the ground below.
