Week 5, Wildcard - 31

This first pic is with my digital camera. Tonight there was a lunar eclipse. You can see the red haze covering the moon. This next series of pics were taken with our digital video camera. The quality isn't as good, but the zoom on the video camera is so much better than my digital camera.

Week 4, Wildcard - 25

It's a little blurry, but my camera is limited. As I was working on laundry today, I noticed this group of leaves hanging precariously outside my window. One of the leaves resembled a heart, so I wanted to try capturing it on film... The wind kept blowing the leaves around, so getting the side of the leaf I wanted the most was a trick and a half. It didn't come out quite how I wanted it, but it's here anyway in sepia with the background consisting of our backyard dusted in powder sugar snow. The leaves, incidentally, have since fallen to their timely deaths to the ground below.

Week 3, Wildcard - 20

Running down to the wire and what do I come up with? My daughter of course! :D

Week 2, Wildcard - 13

My wildcards this week are of the weather... It snowed last night, but no where near as much as my husband was hoping. I do so love taking landscape pictures.

Ever feel like winter has become a cage? You can't go out and enjoy the sun without getting way too cold...

I thought the trees with all the snow on their branches looked amazing...

This is a view of my neighbors trees above the van... Gorgeous!

This is the gate leading into our backyard... I thought the snow hanging on the bits and pieces looked really cool.

And... The backyard! (From outside the gate...)

Week 1, Wildcard - 7

For my wildcard picture today, I took, well, a few pictures. Nothing really exciting.

This first is of Lacy perched on the edge of the futon standing on its side. I thought the silhouette was pretty spiffy.

This one was more of an experiement than anything. These are not star constellations... But what exactly are they? :D

These two were both taken from an interesting perspective, both the same, yet different. The one above was my attempt to take a picture of the horizon. Believe it or not it was a rather brilliant pink sky, but I forgot the flash was on... Can you guess where I was?

This one is a little easier to figure out (Jenn's windshield is cleaner than mine ;)), but to me it reminds me of a city scape with all the brilliant lights or something out of Star Wars (Kyle's suggestion, not mine, but it works.)
